Scalp care with almost 90 years of science behind it
Capilo began in 1937 with Capillicure, one of the first scientifically formulated anti-hair-loss lotions, developed by a French dermatologist whose research classified different types of alopecia. It became Capilo in 1963 and grew into a full range of hair and scalp treatments.
In 1979 Capilo introduced "capilliculture", a specialist approach to understanding and caring for common hair and scalp concerns. Today it is Eva Professional's scalp care range, and Savvy & Shine brings it to salons and clients across the UK and Ireland.

Capilo FAQs
Which Capilo routine is right for me?
Start with the concern that sounds most like you: Energikum for shedding or thinning, Vitalikum for oily roots with thinning, Oxygenum for flakes, Ekilibrium for oiliness and Calmikum for a sensitive or itchy scalp. If you're not sure, book an AI scalp analysis consultation or ask your salon.
How often should I use Capilo?
Twice a week, unless your stylist advises otherwise. Use the exfoliating peel first, then your matched shampoo, then massage in the Aqua-Infusion lotion.
What is Technikum?
Technikum is the pre-treatment step: a scalp reset that helps cleanse and prepare the scalp before your routine. It's a good place to start if you're not sure what your scalp needs.
How long until I see results?
Great results take time. The scalp and hair change gradually, so use your routine consistently and review your progress with your stylist. Ask us what's right for you.
Can Capilo help with menopause hair changes?
Hormonal changes can affect shedding, density and how oily or dry the scalp feels. A matched Capilo routine can help you care for your scalp through these changes. Joanna's Menopause Hair Guide explains more.
When should I see a doctor?
If hair loss is sudden or patchy, or your scalp is sore or irritated, please see your GP or a dermatologist first. Our AI scalp analysis is a consultation tool, not a medical diagnosis.
